spell check

on a couple of other forums there is a spell check before a post or reply is submited.
Would it be possible here also?
This would make it easyer for euro airstreamers who are not english speaking.

Hey Rem,
If you are using Firefox as a browser, right click on the text box and select spell check this field. Problem solved.

Hey, don't worry about it too much! I'd rather spend all day reading posts from a non-native speaker of English than from some English speaker writing "text-message speak" (like "R U rdy 2 go")!!

Send a message via MSN to safari57
On the message screen that I see, where I am currently typing this message, in the upper right hand corner there is ABC with a check mark under it.

That is a spell checker. After you have typed your message you click on it. Works every time.

Quite often, when I post a reply or even start a new thread, I get a message that says something like "your message is too short blah blah blah," and I lose what I had typed. Because of this I have gotten in the habit of copying my message before I post it, in case I have to send it multiple times.

Since I have copied it, if it is very long, I will paste it into Word to check the spelling. But, who really cares anyway? My 16 year old daughter and her friends can't spell two words in a row correctly when they message each other - but man can they type fast.

If you are using IE, you can download a little program called iespell. Once installed, you will see the little check mark shown earlier.

When we upgrade to a newer version of vbulliten a spell checker will be built in.

Great hint, Rodney. Now I just have to remember to use it. Karma coming your way.

As long as I can get the basic idea of what they are trying to say,
creative spelling is okay with me.

This isn't English class and some of those words are very entertaining.

It's hours of fun for the whole family.

My version of Firefox spell checks as I type. It works if I pay attention to it.
It is under preferences, advanced.
