While doing your restoration, I'm curious? What have you unexpectedly found while tearing things apart????
So far we've only found 4 pennies (vintage of coarse) a couple of pencils and a St Christopher’s medallion.

2 bullit holes, one though body above rear window through original caravan plaque. Other one through partician and it appears the Fridge was murded in the process.
Beehive between the crossmembers. it measured 2ft x 2ft 4 inches deep. Thankfully the bees were dead.
Somewhere around here there is a picture of it.
Here is the picture of the interrior shooting. the white stick is through the hole. The Reefer door is prone of the cabinets and appears to have stopped the bullet

Oh, under the original (and very smelly) carpet were a gazillion rivets, two large concave washers (we always wondered what those lumps were), and one very nice 4" adjustable wrench.

Hello,
Dental x-rays from 1954, someone had some bad teeth. A black and white pictures of some kids, thought that was neat cuz it has a lamp in it just like mine.
A 1950's postcard from Louisiana. Oh, yeah and a really cool card of "ez rivets" from 1949.
One pencil, two pens, one nickel and seven pennies, a white and blue graduation cap tassle from '67 and tons of real fine dust.

I found some change, and an old screwdriver in the trailer itself. And several used family planning products when I removed the black water tank for repair.
Remember, you said you wanted to know...

I found odd change, some going back to '61, various screws, a few nails, a previous owner registration (more on that below), dead mice and bugs, used wooden matches under the galley cabinet and a brass and silver globe. It polished up nicely.
I contacted the owners from the late '80s in Oregon. Spoke with Edna and she was sad Leo had sold the trailer, wishes they still had it, matter of fact. After talking for appr. 15 minutes, she said she didn't want to talk about it anymore, they had company and it made her sad. I offered to send her pictures but she turned me down.
Oh my....
Beats anything I've found..lol
I've been working off and on my 64GT..
Finds so far:
Lots of old pennies, nickles and one dime under and behind the water tank up front.
Several old love letters written between the PO and one of his traveling companion..hmmmm
An old bill for a stay at a location in Ga..
Old cloth lines rope tied to the four corners of the "bed"..(got rid of those~!)
One neat quarter located on the bottom of the door in the door screen..Put it back, plus I put a new one there for the current year. Sort of as a marker for when the work was finished.
One old motorcycle manual lost behind the water tank as well.
Neat stuff to be sure...
ciao
