Upon rebuilding my trailer from a tree incident (long story) I found a snickers bar wrapper under the vanity. As well as lots aluminum dust, saw dust, and a slug of aluminum from drilling the access hole for the shore power.

Tonight Jim was shoring up the upper cabinets above the twins. He couldn't get the wood to fit into place and realized something was stuck, he fished out a foreign coin from 1965. We had to Google it to find out that it is a penny from Finland!
The very brown " Lifetime Warranty" stapled to the closet door. It has the serial number, Burns Trailer Enterprises Inc., and a faded signature that is unreadable. Anyone know if they are still in business? Is my warrenty still in effect?
Oh yeah, and a lot of mummified rodent bodies...eeech.
We found a box from 1971 with an assortment of all the medicines you may need. This promptly went into the trash. It was quite a find, though. And still brand new!

I think they would need to honor it. Are you the original owner?
oh, and then there are these little exclusions:
"This Warranty does not apply to any vehicle which shall have been repaired or altered outside of its factories in any-way so as, in the judgement of the warrantor, to affect its stability; or which shall have been subject to misuse, negligence or accident; or which shall have been loaded beyond the factory rated load capacity.
It makes no warranty whatsoever in respect to tires, tubes, rims, signaling devices, axle and wheel assemblies, brake assemblies, refrigerator, heating stoves, ranges, electrical fixtures, water heaters, or other trade accessories, in as much as they are generally warranted separately by their respective manufacturers."
That's cool. I wouldn't have recognized it either. A PO have in-laws from Finland? Hard to believe your A/S went to Europe but suppose its possible. Thanks for posting the pix.
That medicine box is a cool find , especially all new .I found some items like that in our 60 tradewind. A box of brand new bookmatches all duds now for the most part from the 60s .The scary part was that they were behind the small aluminum heater ducting ,back to the rear bath ,you coudnt see them, I was feeling back there ,any way right next to the backside or the furnace!! Lots of vintage gas mantles ,wheel seals, and all the faucet handles ,the round type .Great penny uberlanders I didnt find any cash .
I found some cool Guatemala 70s stickers and a faded picture of someone I couldn't make out. They were sandwiched between the front bulk head and the lower skin.
But the most interesting thing was written in red pen under the front goucho:
"WRONG AXLES"!!!!!!
Oooooo...creepy scary message. Its like the message left in a cave saying that there were no survivors or something and then the days etched into the wall.
This happened about 2 years after my in-laws had given my husband and me their Safari. While taking some change out of my pocket to put on the dinette table, I dropped a couple of the coins that ended up under one of the twin dinette sofa/beds..I set aside the cushion and wood platform and started moving my fingers around searching, then picked up what looked like a piece of glass. Upon more inspection, I found a whole bunch of glass, bits and shards on the bottom..turned out after talking w/the in-laws later, that the front window had gotten broken while they still owned it, but they neglected to clean it up thoroughly!!
