That sure looks like it...I emailed the pictures to a Turkish friend of mine and he said it was too fancy for their money ...be interested to know how it got there. It probably is something as simple as a souvenir

WBCCI Rally Souvenirs

We found a flyswatter from the 1978 International Rally in Ames, IA and a wooden matchbox souvenir from the Victorian Cape May rally hosted by the Delaware Valley New Jersey Unit. The matchbox doesn't say when the rally was. Does anybody know?

Exclamation A present from my '65

I found six (6) - $ 5.00 gift certificates to Darden Restaurants ... but they had an expiration date of June 2000.

Well, I brought my Dad to dinner last week at The Olive Garden and showed them to the server . She took them to the manager ... he returned and told us that they were perfectly good and that the expiration date was not recognized in Florida.

WOW A present from my '65. $ 30.00 - cash! I had no idea I would get such a quick return on my investment so early in the restoration process.

Except of course each swipe of the cleaning rag does give me instant gratification!

Wow That WAS a cool Find! Working on the Argosy today, just found 2 small bags of odd screws.

Under our tub, I found a candle stub and a little note asking that God and Jesus stop Karen from taking drugs. Kind of sad.

Love the fly swatter. I do know (because we've considered going) that the Cape May Victorian Days event is an annual rally that still occurs every year, I believe in October, iirc.

Yeah, I thought it was kinda neat too. The flyswatter didn't look used much, and I didn't find any dead flies, so...

The matchbox is cool too. Makes me wonder what other kind of rally favors a person could come up with. Maybe that's another thread.

Good idea for the discoveries. We've found the original warrenty on our 59 Terry, a matchbook that when i opened it, it just crumbled in my hand a 65 nickle, and an old fishing ad, something that would have been mailed out as a bulk item. It didn't have any sort of date on it, but the men in the pic seemed to be dressed from the 60's.

We found a cheeze-it in the television antenna compass thingy next to the dinette. Cady sniffed the hole and started to point. We had to dismantle it so she would stop pointing and quivering. Then she ate the cracker.

While making some modifications to the tambours, I came across this. Found it under the metal base. Boy, wish I knew the story behind it!

So far, all we've found is evidence that some warm furry creatures like
airstreams as much as we do. Have had to eradicate a few 'squatters'
in the past few weeks...don't want to find any more souveniers!!!
