Unhappy Is spring on back order this year?

Our neighborhood spring clean up was just cancelled for this weekend cause its too cold and snowy

I hear ya airstreamers--but I like being called a Michigander better than being called a troll by a yooper

Got two inches of snow today...maybe a bit more than a dusting in the next 12 hours. Low tonight....32. A bit over a week ago, darn near 80.

Mother nature has a sick sense of humor!

If I had her address, I'd send her some Midol!

No more Michigan.....but

Glad Dad and Mom decided to move us to Calif in '52. Here in the Sierra foothills I do get an occassional reminder of my childhood. The picture is from Feb 22 in my yard. Global warming is coming soon....Summer!

My dad says that in his 67 or so years on the planet, it seems as if the weather has gotten more extreme rather than colder or warmer in general.

I remember during the '70s the concern was with Global Cooling.

My father is 86 and he says exactly the same thing!!

Having said that, I have just spent the entire weekend with all the windows on my Airstream open and the AC going during Siesta. 10* hotter than the monthly norm. 80* under the awning. Hello folks! This is England calling!

Neil.
Hey Neal; Saturday night it started raining and it rained non stop till about 2:00 Am this morning here in Eastern Pa. We got about four inches of rain, but walking out of the house this morning at 4:00 Am I have encountered a white out with wet snow flakes the size of a Quarter driven horizontally. Can someone else besides me tell the mother nature that it is mid April, and my birthday today? Thanks "Boatdoc"
