Ski-joring

Anyone else done this?
I remember in my youthful days
Dillon, Colorado
the 80's
Winter carnivals
Ice skating with Anne Henning
Skiing with the Maher's
Longboards on skates
down Vail pass
in the moonlight
Introducing the snowboard
that thing is a joke
Avalanche control at the "basin" early in the morning
german browns
in the snake
but
of all the thrills
Nothing is as exilirating
as being pulled
by a horse
thru a course
slalom style
in a light snow.
Steam pours from the nostrils
of the mount
the rider coaxes for speed
the skier
ski's chatter
thigh's burn
make the turn
the thrill of it all
just memories now.

Memories...

Memories......if you haven't done what you wanted to do........you wouldn't have any.

Still a lot of time to create new memories.
