Sittin', Waitin', Watchin'
Is it just us....or do others sit in their AS while its parked in the drive way and eat dinner or sip beverages?? Even our dog knows to go to the AS at a certain time of the evening, knowing it will be pets and drinks in the Overlander.
We just can't wait for the maiden voyage to enjoy her. Or will we continue to do this even after she is up and running?

Now you've gone and done it - you've become aluminum addicts!
So... thanks for the invitatiom to come and sit in your AS and have drinks..... But I'm really busy sitting in mine.
Over time you may realize that you have amassed a lovely collection of trip planners, travel brochures and RV parts catalogs in you AS - just for light reading while you relax. How do I know? Not saying....

Mine is my private relaxing room, for when I need a little quiet time away from the hub-bub of the house, dogs, cat, hubby, whatever. I especially enjoy rainy afternoons in it...

Mine is still in a major state of disassembly but that doesn't mean I don't take naps in it, go sit in it, with my laptop. Funny thing is I can be sitting in there and the cat always comes and finds me...so she can sit in it too. Guess she thinks she out to go on a trip with me? I agree with Brett nothing like the sound of a nice rain on an aluminum roof We have eaten in ours a couple of times, like during an ice storm and the power was knocked out for several hours, fired up the furnace put a pot of stew on the stove and invited all the family in, there were 6 of us eating and staying warm

Pop & a movie
We sat out in ours last night and watched Lemony Snickett (not a must see movie) and had Stewarts Grape Sodas. The pups came out as well, and were very disappointed when we didn't hook up and head north for our yearly early May outing to Pittsburg NH.
While the movie was odd, the theatre was fantastic!

Got to agree!! Well it's nice to know that I'm not alone. Seems to just be something of a real relaxing feeling about the AS.
I think it's time to go sit in Ole' Silverback.

Sorry for the spoiler. Maybe you'll like it more. I'm one of those movie watchers who figures out the plot too soon.
Get the grape soda out and the pop corn. With rain today we selected the Incredibles in the Airstream. Thumbs up from both of us, and paws up from the pups!

Well I'm glad to know that these are just normal symptoms of our new addiction. We had a nice candlelit dinner last night accompanied by the local cricket orchestra.
We haven't sat in it in the rain yet. Well, it just doesn't rain that much around here. Except for the short heavy down pours that only occur right when we have things torn apart and strewn around the exterior of the trailer, at that pinnacle moment when we are about finished with the last piece of a project.
When its raining, we run around and check for leaks. So far, we're good. I guess after reading FireflyinVA's story about what she found at the last rally, we are a bit paranoid that we will find something bad that we didn't know was there.
Thumbs up on the Incredibles, too. With all the retro cool stuff in that movie, I think any vintage a/s owner will love it, just for the eye candy.

Not only do I like to go and sit in my new(she's 34 years old) big beautiful AS, I've noticed my dog likes to ease out by her and sleep by the door. Maybe she's dreaming of places unknown to. We are slowly getting ours put back together, and itching to go on our maiden voyage. It must have been something in the air this month, 'cause we got ours on April 2. early
p.s. Iv'e never been so excited about owing something in my life

Its a nice place to go mid afternoon and take a nap. Now if I can just find a way to hide the truck so Carol will think that I have gone.
