Hello... We are heading back to Ontario Apr1 and will arrive by the 5th.. hoping to get the 5th wheel sold by the end of April and shooting for May sometime to pick up the Argosy and take it to Imlay City for Fantastic fans and than on to Elkhart Indiana for front furniture.. and lots of other parts.. Hope to be able to do this with Sharon and Peter in a caravan.. will see what happens...

....like I said when the snow melts.....

Lets see that gives us about 8 weeks - we have a lot to do!

So far we have got the cook top, blue buggy, Fridge stripped the curb side goucho, removed the loose tiles, cleaned the grunge to make it workable inside, and removed a few closet doors and the substitute electric Kenmore fridge.

We have a lot of work to do....

Next we have the kitchen, then the closets and onto the bathroom to remove.

Build the new bathroom (toilet/shower combo) form to have it glassed up and gelcoated for us at the local Fiberglass place. Design the closet space in place of the curbside tub.

Restore all the wood, rebuild the closet beside the completely new kichen. Rebuild the front goucho into an L shape seating with a cafe sytle table. Install the flexsteel couch on the curb side - oh but not after all the new electric, plumbing, floor and paint has to be done.

Install the new skydome, and steel a FF from the Excella to install in the rear vent. (or I may just put a new one in with Annie and Marvin on our trip)

Have I missed anything? - Sure have a list twice that size again....I better get her moved over to the garage and start double timing it - if we are going to get this baby on the road. -

Not sure if we will chance bouncing her back to Indiana on a dead axle. So we may be just driving as Annie and Marvins Escort

What a scary thought that would be - 3 big dogs, 2 little dogs, one queen matress and two sleeping bags in the back bedroom (with Annie and Marvin in them, two single matresses out of the excella for the front and two more sleeping bags with Peter and Sharon, Taz and Haily and Lucky in the middle, two port-potties, two 5 gallon water jugs and a blue buggie NOT.

Hmm a tent is sounding reall good right about now - I bet Marvin would sleep in the canoe oh did I forget to mention that the snow will have melted by then - so we are going canoeing I have a better idea - A&M take the 5 dogs and Peter and I will stay at the Comfort Inn - or sneak out to Stephanies.

Now that would even be better - hang out on Stephs driveway - that would increase the gamat by 2 more adults, one sweet little boy Sam and 1 more dog (big dog!) - wow - but the cooking and food is fabulous at that location - so it is decided....

Hey girls....pulls your stumps in closer...huddle close in the blankets....psssst....did ya hear.....Codybear might not be with us for a bit - her toes are still smokin from an "intruder" alert over at the "buffin buddies"

I could here a comotion and then saw the cod flying off the drying tables and out came Codybear - with a grin a mile wide - but her toes were a smokin to get out of there alive.... You go girl!

Could be a lot of fun - where is Michelle when you need her (casandI) I'll take ya with me -you are taller than I and I am small we can distract them easily.....

Anyone for some salted Cod for lunch. I made some bread pudding last night and it turned out great - just had some for my breakfast.....I leave the rest out if anyone wants to try it. Had some angel cake and hot cross buns, and a tin of manderins - what a nice combo!!! - I skipped the marangue and just included the stiffly wisked egg whites in the mix and what a difference that made - nice and yummy....

Brrr bloody cold here again and not so sunny so it feels even colder - so I am bundled up to go and grab some more logs to pile on the fire.

I was thinking more along the lines of either you or Marvin being taken out of the Argosy in a little white jacket maybe - am I close...

Did someone say they had some salt cod? I've been hungry for Portuguese bacalhau. I'll just run out and get some potatoes and onions and whip some up for us, K?

Sharon, yup, just had to see what all the fuss was over at the
'buffin' rally!!..guess they like to talk 'manly' power!!

P.S. The Cassini Ranch Rally's coming up in late April if you gals can swing by that way, it'd be cool to share 'West Coast' stories with you!

I usually make a Bacalhau casserole. I can't find one online to share with you, but this Bacalhau recipe looks like a good way to do it for the rally!

This thread is going to nead some moderation if you aren't scared away by dried cod posts on the buffin' buddies online rally thread. Or do great minds follow similar tracks?!
