Should have gone to Florida
Looking outside this morning the first thought that came to mind was:
"Should have gone to Florida"
Enjoy,

We just got here! Left in time to dodge that storm. It's cold for Florida but nothing like what you're living through...

That looks like the Ocala Cracker Barrel.
Been there, nice stopover spot.

Nah, nobody comes here anymore; too crowded
I DO enjoy looking at the snow back home from our security cameras. Last year we got home to 15" of fresh snow. We're not making the same mistake this year. We're going back at the end of March.

We should have gone as well, but decided to stay for a number of reasons. Already have reservations for next winter, however, 2017 - thru March.

Actually... To tell the truth, it was Columbus GA! We were on our way to FL though so I thought I'd post it...
Here's an actual FL picture to make up for my "mis-direction"!

It's chilly (44 degrees) this morning in the Florida Panhandle. As cold as it may seem, it is much preferable to the two feet of snow that other parts of the country are digging out from.

We were dug out today, but they had to use a really BIG shovel to do it!
Enjoy,

Enjoyed looking at your picture, great reminder of why we left the north
We had a heavy frost that covered the green grass and put a white roof on the pump house

We didn't have any frost here in the Panhandle, albeit it was chilly.

We were due to leave today but the trailer is still in the shed, waiting for the snow to go down a little more. I dug out the path this morning and with the good warm up due today I think I will move it here to the house so we can begin packing.
I think we will leave Monday, then spend most of February in Florida - signed up for a bunch of state parks.
Pat

Panhandle of FL
It's been cold on a couple of day, but it sure is better than being up North. That being said, we will be heading North in a couple of days. Photo is of sunset here in Destin FL a couple days ago.
