Selling an Airstream

Not sure this is the appropriate forum but I can't access the classified forum at the moment.

Any hints you can give me about selling my 25' Flying Cloud FB Twin.

Has anyone had experience with "National Vehicle"? I submitted a request for a value for my unit at their web site and they called saying they can sell it for me. They want an upfront fee of $549 and that is all. Seemed very confident they could sell the unit for what I felt was a fair price. Mostly they sell via Ebay and 1 other site. But if they are not on the level or can 't preform I am out $549.

Any other tried and tested ways to go about this? Airstream Classifieds?

I am selling to go to a 30' FC.

Careful with that outfit. They make a lot of impossible promises to keep. They will also start flooding your email with spam after the first contact. I know this from personal experience with them.

You have a very popular model, go to AirstreamClassified.com & list it, in fact I've seen a post looking for a late model 25 twin.

You won't have any trouble selling it on the classifieds . good Airstreams sell fast

I sold one Airstream on the Forums and bought my present one that way. I recommend it (and my fellow forum members as customers).

You don't need to pay anyone to help sell a 25'. If it's a clean unit buyers will line up.

I have bought two Airstreams and sold one thru Airforums. As long as the crooks stay away it is a good source.
