Saved from hail

For several years I kept my trailer at my brothers house but always worried about hail and flooding (he lives near the river) . Last year we bought a building to store the Airstream in and today I could not be happier. Thursday we had a major storm in the area with large hail. Lots of damage in the QC area. His new CRV probably a total, 6,000 damage to his 2002 truck, new roof and siding for his house as well as other assorted damage. Its rare for us to get large hail but it sure made a believer out of me on the damage it can do. His two older vevicles a '78 Ford truck and 92' chevy van had virtually no damage. Thicker, better steel I guess. The RV and body shops are going to have a very profitable summer here.

Hail!!!

John, Good timing on that move! My trailer is under cover too but the canvas tarp (on the carport tent) I use took a hit. Now it has two large tears in it and three of the legs are bend. The wind did more damage to the trees around here than the hail or rain did. guess I'll have to think of a new place to store my coach. Ed
