Samsung Portable DirectTV

Has anyone used the Samsung Portable 10" DirectTV (Samsung SL10D10)? Less than $400. Pretty nifty looking.

Looks cool and compact, but screen's pretty small. Samsung does make the best LCDs, though -- love my 15"!

Regards,

12VDC and 27W power consumption is pretty darn good for a directv device.

Alas, no integrated off-air tuner; it'd be really neat if it had a small laptop HD for tivo-like program time-shifting. Also, being a directv device, it wants to periodically "call" using a telephone connection (although there's a "low-speed data" connection for "future" services that may make the phone access obsolete...).

I could also wish for an RF-out; this little guy would be perfect mounted the the bedroom area, and still be used to pipe the signal to a larger main-cabin screen.

I suppose I want it all...

Cheers,
-jd.
