Pink is Dead
OK- This is really going crazy! I had just purchased 50 pairs of Don's flamingos for $10.95 a pair. I just contacted both of my suppliers and they are out of stock; GONE! What is this world coming too? If I find another supplier I will post it immediatly. PLEASE beware of knock-offs!

Funny you said that, I was thinking the exact same thing. I hate to think we will have to chain our Flamingo's to our Airstreams! Here, you can have my generator but not my Flamingo's!

This is just wrong
OHMAGOSH! THis is an outrage.  I bought mine for $12.95 this morning, I have the invoice to prove it. No wonder the guy at customer service told me "Yeah, tell all your friends we still have a few in stock, but they are going FAST!" Then he turns around and ups the price, EXPONENTIALLY. I'm not believing this. They've even added all this "collectors item" verbiage to the description.  Isn't there a law or something? Flamingo price gouging? Ya'll I'm sorry I even called to see if they were really Featherstone's in stock.

Last week they were clearance items. Since that article in the newspaper they are collector's items. If a company does buy those moulds and puts them back into production, you probably won't be able to give them away.
I wonder how much they want for those moulds anyway. Hmmm, my company doen't have a policy against moon-lighting. I could put the kids to work on weekends, keep production low, supply low, and that would keep demand high and prices high...what is Union Products' phone number?

Last month, I purchased 50 pairs myself to give out to each rig attending the NEU maintenance rally the first w/e in May 2007. Hmmmm, perhaps by May 2007 they will be worth alot more?
