We had 113 yesterday and on Sunday there was a heat advisory from 10am to 8pm. The temp on Sunday was around 110 and the humidity was around 60% or so it seemed. Even saunas and steam rooms are more comfortable.
Interesting weather....San Antonio area has been relatively cool until this week. My thermometer read 96 yesterday afternoon and that's as high as its been all summer. The sun has to spend all its energy evaporating off the moisture in the ground from our unusual rains. Pastures are green. Really strange for August.

Yea it has been in the 100's here and I just live about 25 min from moosetags.Heat index have been hitting around 115 though.Right now my temp gage in the vehicle was showing 96 and it is still early.
We have clear skies and no wind so you all know we are having a great time right now.
Hopefully it will turn for the better here shortly.I can not remember when it was this hot before.

Those sound like our normal humidity levels. BTW, Saturday my temp gage in the shade read 105.4! At 6:00 PM it was still 101. These are temps like Arizona temps!

Here's the current conditions at my location on the east coast of FL:
Wind from the E (080 degrees) at 12 MPH (10 KT) Visibility 10 mile(s) Sky conditions partly cloudy Temperature 89.1 F (31.7 C) Heat index 100.2 F (37.9 C) Dew Point 75.9 F (24.4 C) Relative Humidity 65%
For reference, I'm about 355 mi ESE of moosetags and Devoman, and 450 mi SSE of Minnie's Mate. We usually have a sea breeze here (it's here today), which moderates the temperatures.

I am expecting some afternoon breeze here shortly also. That is one thing I really like about living on the beach. There is always an afternoon breeze whether it is 1 mph or stronger.Oh and no Mosqitoes or bugs.
This heat is still killing me though.I just went to get the mail and I started to sweat just walking across the yard.
We're in Anchorage, AK today. Yesterday here it broke a record high ( by 1 degree) think it got to 82.
So much cooler than what we left in SC last week.
We're off to Denali today and then down to Rangles by the end of the week.
We've already done a small boat trip into the Kenia Fijords that was the best we could ever hope for.
I'm going to hate going back south for certain.
Not two miles from Anchorage Intl. Airport coming in we saw an Argo Moho with "ARGO" on the side, in a storage area. Lot's of SOB's and numerous AS TT's.

"I'm not an expert. But I did sleep in an Airstream last night."

So Glen, did you bring your Airstream motor home or did you fly?
