Rich LUHR has stopped his blog...

hi the community;

Just to tell you that Rich ( Airstream life) has stopped writing THE airstream life blog after 3 years on the roads with his familly.
I used to read that american story and now it's over...

I wanted to do this thread to thank Rich, Eleanor and Emma, to have shared their life with me and a lot of airstreamers in this forum. Many of us have met them and , about me,it was a great moment I want to live again.
Thank you, one more time, to have brought us your enthousiam and passion around airstream and America.

Rich, hope your next "mission" will be so good as the america tour blog...

I'm impatient now , to read you again.

Best souvenir from France.

Tour of america

We will miss Tour of America Rich.It was a good trip.
Will be looking forward to your new blog.
Hope you like house living now,but if you get home sick for your trailer I guess you can go outside and stay in it a night.
Hope to see you at some of the 4CU rallies

The Rockstars of Airstreaming

The Luhr's are bonafide Airstreaming rockstars. Thanks to all three of you for powering the dream of Airstream Living!

We ran into them a few years ago at Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, and I have been reading their blog off-and-on ever since....it will be missed! I cannot tell you how many campgrounds I have saved information about thanks to the Luhr's blog

Well, if he's stickin' around the house now maybe he'll answer some of the letters I've been sending his magazine.

Mike - Sorry you missed the quality. Rich & family shared their experiences & observations for quite a long time. I for one enjoyed each entry, and like most Airstreamers, I just can't get enough of Airstream Life magazine. I have no discipline. I just find a quiet corner somewhere and read it from front to back in one sitting, then find myself calculating when the next issue will arrive. A great value for the money!!

As a trailer owner, I've read a few MH articles that translated to possible modifications to my oh so insignificant 25' Sovereign.

Rich's Tour of America blog was half the reason I chose to buy an Airstream in the first place. The magazine is excellent and the blog was always a great supplement. I hate to see it end, but I understand that it's a time consuming endeavor.

Thanks for sharing your life on the road and I wish you and your family the best.

Writing to Airstream Life magazine has been good therapy for Mr Hut. Canoestream, that's a good idea on the fanny spanking, that might be good therapy too and a nice spark to liven things up in the trailer again. I'll lay one on Mr Hut tonight and let you know how it works.

Rich and crew are not fulltiming any more, but will be continuing a blog on their everyday lives from the "community" part of their website. Airstream Life is not for everybody, and it doesn't try to be. I subscribe to several "hobby" magazines, and Rich's magazine rates up there with the others I get.
