As a trailer owner, I've read a few MH articles that translated to possible modifications to my oh so insignificant 25' Sovereign.

Rich's Tour of America blog was half the reason I chose to buy an Airstream in the first place. The magazine is excellent and the blog was always a great supplement. I hate to see it end, but I understand that it's a time consuming endeavor.

Thanks for sharing your life on the road and I wish you and your family the best.

Writing to Airstream Life magazine has been good therapy for Mr Hut. Canoestream, that's a good idea on the fanny spanking, that might be good therapy too and a nice spark to liven things up in the trailer again. I'll lay one on Mr Hut tonight and let you know how it works.

Rich and crew are not fulltiming any more, but will be continuing a blog on their everyday lives from the "community" part of their website. Airstream Life is not for everybody, and it doesn't try to be. I subscribe to several "hobby" magazines, and Rich's magazine rates up there with the others I get.

Mike, one of the things I've learned in the past year is to communicate coherently, cogently and, most important of all, constructively.

What might seem lame or expensive to someone might be incredibly useful and worth the cost to someone else. Reading about other peoples' life experiences can sometimes give us insight on how to improve our travels.

Rich, great job on the blogs and Airstream Life.

I've forgotten to indicate the link so I have supposed that only few people didn't know who is Rich luhr, what is Airstream life and the Tour of America blog....
So it's not too late to discover this incredible familly and what they have done during 3 years... and the story continue:
Tour of America
About the magazine... expensive ???? Never when the passion gives you good times and nothing in comparison with the price of a MH maintenance....just by example, Mike.

It is preposterous to call Airstream Life "expensive."

I pay $100 every time I fill up my truck. I pay $500 per month for the priveledge of being in a trailer park. For a whopping $16 per year you can subscribe to the wildly over-priced Airstream Life magazine!

Too funny.

I for one enjoyed reading about his travels and look forward to every issue of the mag. I wish him well in his newly morphed life and know that at some point, I'll see him and his family on the road, at a rally, or someplace as I am sure he has not given up the Airstream.

Geetings everyone... I was hoping I could get Rich out of bed early to join in on this thread but no such luck. Three years out of the loop of being a homeowner I think reality is starting to sink in. The up side is that he will be starting a whole new adventure with his family and friends and I know he will continue sharing with us all. I would like to thank you all for those kind comments about the magazine and the staff. Rich has been a great Boss to work for and all the advertizers have been wonderful and supportive. Like the rest of you I have enjoyed reading his blog (helps to know where the boss is you know) and am very pleased to have been included in Rich's extended family. Rich, job well done and I look forward to the next project down the road.

I, too, have been a sporadic reader of the Tour of America Blog. I have enjoyed it when I read it and tried to catch up when I missed a period. But as any one enters a new stage in their life, life goes on for them and those whose lives they have touched. Good luck in the new house and be patient with those itchy feet until you can make it out on the road again. I know you aren't about to let the adventures in your Airstream end, just take a respite between them.

Rich started out on a 6 month tour of America and it wound up lasting 3 years. Wow! Aren't we all envious?
