revenge of the bark beetle

sounds like this bark beetle thing is escalating. officials are closing several campgrounds for the summer in wyoming and colorado for fear of falling beetle eaten trees

We have "Yellow Pines" here in Florida, too. I wonder just how widespread the problem is.
