Resolutions???!!!

May be a little early, but, I was wondering what my fellow Forum member's New Years Resolutions would be for 2007?

Mine...in no particular order....

Become a "Rivet Master"
Loose some weight
Camp more at places I have not camped at before
Attend at least ONE AS rally
Take a photography class to learn to use my digital camera better
Read more for pleasure and less for work
Finish my correspondence course in carpentry
See my kids and grandkids more
Try a "margaretta ball"
Go to Camping World ONLY when I REALLY Need something

I just received this tonight onto a New Year's greeting. I like it!

I wish that "2007 is your year!" I sincerely mean that. Happy New Year. -- Below are some great ideas for the New Year from a wonderful soul coach, named Denise Linn, who I've had the pleasure of speaking with on the radio and in e-mail. --

Recount the Year – Imagine that it’s January 1, 2008. I had an awesome year, this is what has happened. Write it as if it really happened.

Get together with friends - You act as if the year has gone by and talk to each other as if you hadn’t seen each other in a whole year. But don't read it off a piece of paper, memorize what you've written (Recount the year - above)

Collage for the year – Lots of magazines. Create a collage of the energy. Go for the feelings you want (as opposed to getting a new car, etc). Dance (i.e. creating a dance studio, etc.)

Affirmations with feeling – with your body and with your emotions and voice. Knock your arms to heaven, “2007 is the best year of my life!” Do it in the shower, LOL, if you're shy. Feel as if indeed had the best year of your life.

Make an altar – Altars are necessary to human psyche. Objects what you desire. i.e. Put a candle on it (to light your heart up to the world)

Create a joy journal (in addition your regular journal) – Do some colouring, art, etc. Instead of just the regular, dumping ground journal. Take a picture, one picture a day!
--Denise Linn -

I made a resolution not to procrastinate next year.
Well, it’s not really a resolution; it’s more of a concept.
Is it a concept? I am not sure.
I need to give this more thought…..

- In 2007 we will organize our lives.

- No longer will we use our Airstream as an "escape pod" from our
disorganization.

- Travel to far away places in our Airstream.

- be kinder, gentler people.

--I resolve to save more money so I can retire eariler, and spend more time in the Airstream.

Gee, does that mean fewer toys , though?

Hmmm...toys or retirement??

Smile New Year Resolutions!

Ok, does anybody have any? I think I have one: to be "happy and content" with what I have and to not constantly be looking for the "latest greatest" thing available to upgrade (especially if its a non-critical item or system).

Have Margarita Ball, Will Travel

Roscinante:
On the lighter side, we can help you folks out with at least one (or two)of your resolutions. If you make it to any of the NorCal Rallys (1) we will be there with our Margarita Ball (2). We like to keep it simple so, were shooting for sharing the ball with as many people as possible this year. Which of course means going to more rallys, keeping the AS running well, working less overtime, spending more time together, continuing to upgrade the AS. Wow, this is all really good stuff. Who said resolutions are hard?
