Its too bad the team we locals saw all summer didn't show up for the series.....but you guys have a hell of a team. From the comments of many in St. Loo we hated to lose but if we did, we were happy it was to the Sox. You guys deserve it!

Regards,

Jack

As a young Ohio farm boy growing up in the ah---------- call it late 40's, early fifties, I was & still am, an ardent Red Sox fan. Sent to them a request for a cap, but got a nice letter & team photo in return. My youthful "treasure box" has my box scores of games I listen to on the radio, pics & other priceless memorabilla's from the era. I also have a large pic of Ted Williams, Johnny Peske & Birdiee Tebbetts, which is one of my favorites. So many great players from that era of baseball, some even on other teams . When we start our travels to the Northeast, you betcha Fenway Park is on the list of things to see. Who knows, maybe even buy a cap. Love those Sox & now they have FINALY shaken the curse. Will Beantown ever be the same?
Best,

Congrats

Growing up in South Central Pennsylvania you almost have to be an Orioles fan. I am one of those. However I do follow the Sox as my second team, and I joined the sleepless watchers. Glad to see that the curse has finally faded, sorry Bambino. What made it even better was that they beat the "Evil Empire", and swept the series. Go Sox!!!

I'm also a Packers fan, and would like to ask you to say a little prayer for Deanna Favre (Brett's wife) who is now battling breast cancer. Good luck to her and all suffering from the dreaded "C".
