Really Big Scare Light

Maybe you thought your A/S had a large scare light. Check the one on this 68 Avion.... Really nice trailer IMHO - it's out on ebay today

It looks like an underwater pool light.

Probably not original, it looks like they placed it over where a USFS sticker or emblem (or something similar) used to be. There's some sort of "shadowing" there.

I have an old (1969) Bluebird school bus that used that same lens/light for its backup lights.

You sure wouldn't have any problem finding your way back from the campground john at night. Mount one above the door and it'd be like the Bat Light from the old Batman t.v. series.....

That's the SAME light (is it really scarey??) that most SOBs and a lot of MoHos use as 'docking' lights. these are turned on when they have to park at night to allow hem to see what is around them.

I have no idea who came up with that really dumb name, unless the designer's last name was 'Scare' (scarey thought though!!)

It's supposed to scare off intruders, like racoons and bears, hence the name. See, it makes sense, in a scary sort of way...
