I thought I would share our view as of this morning. There is only one thing worse...the weather forecaster stated this morning by midweek we could get a measurable snowfall. It looks like to me we are already there! I was all set to have Betty Lou II dewinterized and washed this week. But yesterday I realized that this was not going to happen. I have rescheduled for 2 weeks from tomorrow. Hopefully by that time it will be safe to dewinterize. Our AS is 100 miles to the north so keeping the heat on is not an option.
Hopefully your view is better than ours,
Vickie (Mrs. Towdaddy)

We too got snow, not as much - just a dusting, but it kinda cramps the restoration plans for the weekend! Oh well, gives me an excuse to stay in and do some neglected chores.

We didn't get snow, but we did have the threat of flurries, but I am in the deep south and it is APRIL for pete's sake! I normally don't put my bedding plants out until after April 15th (I knew tax day was good for something) I almost gave in and did it last weekend when it was 80 degrees but I know that all good things must come to an end.

Why are we in this basket...and where are we going
Sorry to see all that snow... such a bummer to be all ready for spring and then ugh. I'm not sure how well the community Easter egg hunt is going to go tonight... all the kids will be in snowpants that's for sure!
One good thing bout the warm up and freeze is that early crop of mosquitos we had here is gone for good (insert evil laugh bwahaha)! They were a ravenous bunch!

It was spitting snow in Chattanooga last night. Less than 2 weeks ago I had de-winterized, tested the systems, and was camping in 84 degree weather using the A/C. Now I'm hustling back and forth to the Tradewind to check on the heaters and making sure nothing gets too cold or worse, overheated and on fire.
My heart goes out to the northeast. I really feel for you Michigan folks with 4-5 inches of snow.
Your heart goes out to the northeast and folks in Michigan with 4-5 inches of snow? How about Central Texas. We have received more than that here. 90+ degrees just a few days ago and now this. I just drove by the hospital where employees have built a 4 and a half foot snowman, at Easter no less.

Hi GS, I didn't mean to slight you. My heart goes out to you too. I just heard about Texas on the news tonight. Also something about people laying out in the warm sunny weather in Seattle and it was over 50 degrees in Anchorage, Alaska today. Its ridiculous. Snowmen can be fun, but not necessarily for Easter!
