Jeez, I guess nobody remembered the SNL "I hate when that happens," sketches with Billy Crystal.

My favorite is running barbed wire in one nostril and out the other, tying it to the waist of a full-grown mountain gorilla, and then firing a starter's pistol and he takes off running. I hate when that happens.

That's when SNL was actually live and they spent more time being funny than reading queue cards. At least it felt like improv, even if it wasn't. Hilarious!

You know what I hate? When I take a six inch miniature of the Empire State Building and cram it up my nose... Yeah, I hate when that happens.

-Red, not as young as I used to be....

...and nobody called me out on "quesine"? Since it's too late to edit, imagine that it's French for "cuisine"... which is probably French in the first place, but just pretend with me here. Say it with a French accent, and act as if you're somehow better than everyone else.

Not sure... It was in Italy. You could buy horse steaks in the super market. Good stuff!

And I apologize to any French members of the forum.

-Red, mmmmmmmmmm, horse...

Just a thought.....but what is it with twin beds?

I realize all the old TV shows and movies of the '40s and '50s showed married couples sleeping in twin beds, but we knew they really didn't.

Personally, I didn't get married to sleep alone.

That's why I've got a big old queen size in the back of the trailer... We just put a memory foam top on it. That thing is awesome.

-Red, sleeping like a queen?

Goodness, I love you guys, (she typed with tears of mirth blurring the screen) all of you wonderful old f**ts. And Gene, where is Gene? He is a lovable old fa**t too, one of my all-time favourites.
Winter is TOTALLY the best time on the forum.

If we could only get snot bubbles of joy to come forth now, our lives would be meaningful and complete. And who are you calling old foots? Feets?

I have been pondering a Veggie oil conversion, I actually have a good source for free oil, my husbands big box grocery superstore deep fryers. They have to pay large to have it taken away.
I have a friend that has 2 Mercedes sedans that he converted and they are awesome. He bought them cheap in Florida and he drives one down every year for the winter. The sticking point is the amount of money the Jeep cost, if it was a beater maybe I'd take the plunge. It's one of those "If it ain't broke.....".
I adore my Grand Cherokee diesel, the seats are so comfy and it just loves the open road, ticks over and sips diesel and can tow my AS easily. Not so much in town however, that is why I just bought a '95 YJ (glorified golf cart that you can drive on the road) for a very good price.
I will save the mileage and wear on the Big Jeep by driving the YJ locally and the beauty is that the little 2.5L 4 cyl. engine is so simple that I am planning to do a valve seal and gasket job myself in the spring and of course some bodywork, it is a Wrangler after all. Easy-peasy.
I have already had the seats out and beefed up the drivers side floor.
My neighbor has a parts Jeep, so I have been raiding it for bits and pieces. And EVERYTHING for Wranglers is/are available online. Redneck Garage videos on Youtube are very helpful since he did a Jeep from the ground up.
The 2015 Grand Cherokee diesels START at $65K, YIKES. But if I had the cash just laying around.............

Snot bubbles of joy, I can do that, so can my grandson, but come to think of it his are more likely just random snot bubbles. I get the joy of cleaning them up. And you know Red, it truly does make life meaningful and complete.
