Random question......How many tacos is "too many"? Does it depend on the quality of the beer being served as well?

Me too. If I'm not on the list I turn on the coffee pot and start on the crossword.

Is that a question? =) Soft, Crispy, yardbird, beef, cabrito? Salad? Guac?
I would say a Grande Shiner Draft per 2 of any combo of above brief list of possible stuffing...taco stuffing that is...

oh.. don't forget the Mexican Pickles!!! More of those increase required beer flow.

Man, I haven't had cabrito since our San Angelo days. Pairs well with Lone Star (long necks, of course).

Them Mexican Pickles get to me these days. Had to cut back on those....well a little bit anyway.

If the sun is up it is probably daytime. IF it is dark, it is night. if night, keep the lights on so you don't trip on a spring forward and fall back.

If you're retired, it doesn't make a difference, the paper will still be on the porch. If you're NOT retired, then spring forward.

I used to like rock music a lot. Listened to it constantly at as high a level as the system would go without too much distortion. Now I'm almost deaf, so I listen to talk radio and struggle to understand what they are saying, but it keeps me alert when driving.

Being a native Arizonan, I think the all that springing forward and falling back is kinda stupid. #JustSayin

It is kind of stupid, even if one is not from Arizona. For the latter half of my career, my employer had a "flex time" policy so that employees could arrive anytime between 7:00 and 9:00 (later it changed to anytime between 6:00 and 9:00), which meant that those who wanted to go to work in the dark and get off work in the daylight could, and those who wanted to go to work in the daylight and get off work in the dark could, too. DST or Standard Time made no difference anymore.

Daylight Saving (not "savings," thank you) Time was instituted in the USA in 1918, but the actual dates for switching forward and back were not uniform nationwide, or even statewide, until 1966 with the passage of the Uniform Time Act. In fact, at one point in history, the state of Iowa has no less than 23 different dates for switching to Daylight Saving Time, depending on locale.

The rationale behind DST was that in the summer months, when there are more hours of daylight than darkness, people would rather go to work in the dark in exchange for having more daylight after work. According to WikipediaŚ the ultimate non-authoritative source for triviaŚ the man who first proposed DST was a golfer who wanted to play a full round after work in the summer rather than stop playing midway through on account of darkness. And this seemed like such a wonderful idea for golfers everywhere that the measure was adopted in virtually all of North America (except Arizona where golf apparently isn't a popular after-work pastime), most of Europe, New Zealand, parts of Australia, and a few South American countries.

Old Indian saying:

Only the white man thinks cutting 4" off one end of a rug and adding them the other end makes for a longer rug.

So much for Daylight Savings....

It has always tickled me that the line dividing Mountain time from Pacific time runs right down the border of Nevada, except for a small blip in the line so that Wendover, NV can be in the Mountain time zone. I'm sure it's just a coincidence that Wendover is the closest spot to Salt Lake City where you can gamble and imbibe freely, and it would be inconvenient for all the Utah folks to have to reset their watches. Must be a coincidence, because there can't be that many people in Utah who want to gamble and imbibe freely anyway, right?
