Hey man, sign up for Canopener next year, and you can test drive this one around. I've got it geared pretty low, so you only get about 7 miles an hour top end. And, if your knees can't take it, one person can pedal both people around. And on top of that, you get to enjoy Canopener with a couple hundred crazy people...

If you get serious about building one, I can send you a lot more pictures of the build... Go on Amazon and you can find the motorized hubs. I'm probably going to two speed hubs soon, just to be able to gear it even lower, and then get some top end out of it. Keep in mind that most state parks (in Florida anyways) won't let any motorized vehicle on the bike trails, even electric power...

-Red, low and slow...

Now you've got me thinking. We stayed in a KOA for a week last summer, and rented one of their golf carts for me to get around. I noticed several campers brought their own golf carts. However, to do that I would have to bring another TV to tow the golf cart trailer.

There would be no room in my pick up box for your thingy, but perhaps, I could tie it down on top of my Extang hard fold tonneau cover. Hmmm... wheels are turning. Have to think about this. Great idea, Red.

Well, it's cold and rainy here in the Heartland. Typical Spring; warm for a bit, then back to cold. Tonite it's supposed to freeze.

While I could have brought out the AS, I chose not to until I'm sure Winter has indeed gone away. I need to do some work on her, and I do not want to do it when it's cold outside.

I need new batteries, and I might as well put in a better converter, also.
Any thoughts on which one to install?

I'm guessing the converter is under the front couch. What is the best way to get to it?

Disco batteries. I removed the drawer under the gaucho(sofa) then belly crawled in to get to the converter.

Otherwise remove gaucho for easy access.

I think that with my rotund shape and aging joints I will remove the couch.

Nice pictures. Thank you!

WWII fighters and bombers are my favorite airplanes.
