Hmmm, just had an idea. This summer, perhaps I could find some yards that have been "flamingoed" and buy them cheap from the homeowner.
Just find the site last used for an AirForum Rally....

Do not worry, they are not dead. It just happened to be one heck of a bash.
If you ever tried standing on one leg when you were falling-down drunk you would understand.

I think I recognize that one... No, not that one, the one a little further... Yep, over to the right a little, now, down two... THAT ONE! That one right there. His name is Bob...

And, if you're falling down drunk, wouldn't you not be able to stand up, even on two legs? Hence the "falling down" part... Yeah, one leg is right out of the question.

-Red, friend of the flamingosesi...

In the immortal words of actor Dean Martin, "You're not really drunk if you can lie in the gutter without holding on!"

Supposed to get well below freezing here in North Florida tonight... hope y'all have everything ready.

-Red, enjoying the cool weather while it lasts...

A few years ago my in-laws SOLD their '67 Caravel, which they owned for 20 years and we had borrowed on numerous occasions, to a neighbor for next to nothing. When I got over my shock and asked them why, they said "We didn't think you'd be interested." Arrgggg... Then I had to watch it sit in someone else's yard, unused, deteriorating for the next few years. I offered to buy it back, but the guy said he was going to restore it "someday." Last time me I was over there it was gone. I just hope it IS being restored and will give some other family another 20 years of enjoyment...

In-laws, can't live with them, can't shoot them... What's surprising is that you had borrowed it, and they knew you liked to use it (or so I would think) and then didn't think you'd be interested. I'm thinking there's more here than meets the eye. Fess up, what did you do to piss 'em off? C'mon, we're all friends here, you can tell us...

-Red, wantin' the dirt...
