Terry,

They said it would be obsolete, not expired.

My wedding ring is dated inside.
I had it off recently and was was examining it very closely, when the DW inquired about what I was doing...I remarked slyly...."according to this inscription it's expired."

She said...."well if yours is, so is mine."

We renewed our our vows after 45yrs.

Bob

Dang, I feel like a veritable newcomer. Only 31 for us...or is it 32?

Congrats guys. Makes me feel like there is hope for humanity.

Sadly, anything over 10 years or so is unusual. 😞

After noticing how many of our friends & relatives were no longer together.........

Just to make sure new acquaintances understand where we were in our relationship my introductions go something like this....'Hello, my name is Bob, and this lovely lady is my first wife Sandra"

Thank's L & T......but I think it's the other way around.

We will hit 33 years this year. She was a smoking hot 19 year old blonde, and I was a doofus 20 year old that couldn't believe how lucky I was...

Biggest mistake we made was getting married on New Years Eve. We thought, "Hey! There will ALWAYS be a party going on our anniversary!" And, there is, a huge party, that everyone wants to go to, which means NOBODY is available to babysit, there are drunks all over the road, you can't get a reservation at a restaurant, everybody already has plans... And on and on.

When it comes to picking a wedding day, New Years Eve isn't as cool as you'd think...

32 and some change later, she's still a smoking hot blonde, and I'm a quite a bit pudgier doofus that still can't believe how lucky I am...

-Red, living the life...

Well, we missed that one. I think I'll wait to do that 'till 100 years.

38 official years (42 together) for us and one of our first conversations was about traveling around the US in a cool RV!

We celebrated our 40th anniversary December 28, just a few weeks after ordering our 27FB International Signature (with twin beds, I might add). We requested she not be built until after April 1st. Getting excited!

26 years last New Years and Tracy still refers to me on introductions as " my first husband". Keeps me trying.
