Thumbs up

I rather enjoy Downtown Arby's, slowmover brought up some good points,
but I look for other things, fun to try to identify.

As much as I don't like Urban Meyer, or Ohio State, they played one heck of a game. Congrats Ohio!

-Red, not allowed to discuss football...

It was a great game and they all played their hearts out. I love the Oregon quarterback - he's a class act. Sure wish the receivers could have caught the football! Oh well...I'm a die hard Gator and sure hoping for a better season next year for us!

Very excited about Coach McElwain... Looking forward to some Gator football next year. Wait, this is getting darn close to discussing football. The way my predictions for this season turned out, I'm only allowed to discuss uniform color. No real football talk here...

-Red, and weren't hose Oregon uniforms fabulous?

It's kinda like the name Robert for an Airstream owner. Just a name.

I'm not much of a football fan, but it would have been nice to see Oregon win the championship. Kudos to Ohio State, they played a superb game.

As with others of its type the first season is the one worth watching.

And with any PBS, no laugh track and no commercials. Their show, Mystery, is always a reward.

But still well above the usual cable offerings.
That's easy for you to say.

Haven't watched a single episode of Downton Abbey. My 16 year old daughter and her friends love it, as well as my mother, who has to watch each episode about three times, because she can't catch the accent easily...

I'm more of a Top Gear fan, and enjoy The Walking Dead. Watching Gold Rush lately, just to see that Beaks fellow restore the old dredge. The rest of that show is pretty lame. Any of the reality shows that restore something or make something I'll give a try. Actually enjoyed the Project Runway series. What some of those people do with fabric is amazing...

-Red, waiting on the days to get longer...

Does anyone else ever type up a reply to a thread, only to delete it? I usually don't have much to say that could be considered helpful, or educational... Some people seem to get pretty pissed off if you just jump in the conversation with a comment intended to add a snudge of levity to the thread. I've deleted three replies this morning already. Admittedly, they were in threads on topics that historically blow up into name calling and typing in all caps... Had a very funny comment on the Hensley hitch thread that I just deleted. After I typed it up, I thought, "You know, threads like this tend to go nuclear pretty quickly. I better just stay out of it!" Stay random my friends...

-Red, giggling at himself...
