Rallies

I have owned my AS for about a year, and done alot of work with much more to go. I have some interest in going to vintage rallies such as the one in Texas. I just wonder if there are many people with kids who go or mostly older couples (grown kids). I enjoy visiting with both, howerver my kids I'm not sure. I really only have one left (14) that would go. I tkink it would be fun' and I know i would learn alot, but I want everyone to enjoy it. I would probably find out I have more work ahead of me than I realize.

I've only been to one vintage rally, and there were some kids there, but like you say, mostly older couples.

I guess the lack of comments leads me to believe mostly no younguns. Bummer! I may make to one someday anyway!

They vary, some areas & events draw more young families than others...I would email the event hosts to find out whether the particular rally you are interested in has kids registered, I wouldn't base your plans on the number of posts in this thread. Besides, "14" is about the time most kids don't want to do anything their parents do...

It is the start of a very pleasant age! Maybe that started last year. HAHA

The Balloon Fiesta Rally in Albuquerque is PERFECT for kids - we get the young and old and all have a really great time - lots of things for them to do.. - we have also had kidos at the Vintage Restoration Rally as the pool is open when we are there - but its more geared to restoration.

We have Family fun rallies at least twice a season that are for kids and the kid in all of us. Children are welcome at all our rallies and usually have a couple of familys or grandkids at the rallies.
