Carmilla, that pup on the quilt is too cute.
Will have to figure out how to post pictures, so I can join the fun.

Do we have to post pictures or can we just list? If listing is ok, here is my list:
"Happy Campers" quilt throw for daughter's popup camper; red work embroidery with piecing wall hanging; 3-year-old Oak Leaf king quilt; four Christmas hanging/table runner projects; Goose in the Rose Garden applique/pieced quilt; three block of the month projects...sigh... I'm addicted to starting, slow to finish! With this challenge, SOME of these should be done by late summer. ~G Oops, forgot the Piecemakers charity quilt projects...two throws sandwiched but not yet quilted or bound. Maybe I win the prize for most UFO's!

I bet I have more UFO's than you do...sigh..... but summer is for gardening, and traveling, and being outdoors in general, so I doubt I will get many of them finished in time for this challenge. I wish you all luck on completing these great projects! PS - by when do we have to post info or photo of a UFO we want to "enter"?

Jezibels, yes, that is the fabric I used for her throw. I'm thinking I should change the backing and use a flannel for cool camping evenings by the fire. I bought mine as panels (used two) and bordered it with a set of color related Charms--from my local quilt shop, Specialty Quilts in Jefferson City, MO. I don't know if they still have panels or yardage--rather doubt it. With the new lines she has in the shop now, she's probably sold out the previous lines, especially with the ShopHop buses that have come by lately. Best wishes on finding some of it on line. The camping images are SO cute. ~G

oh Jess, your projects are so cute! Love that orange!

@maxandgeorgia the rules at the top say to post the pictures first. I like that the rules are so simple!

Okay. This thread is going to stretch me in more ways than just finishing unfinished "objects." Now, I have to learn to post pictures! You are pulling me screaming and digging in my heels from my quiet quilter's world into the techy present. We'll see... ~G

John- UFOs anre Unfinished Objects. Referring to the habit quiters and other crafter have of buying fabrics for future projects...sometimes WAY in the future, and when a backlog occurs, we have to have motiviation to finish!!!

I don't think we put an "enter by" date on the contest. We'll take entries as long as you think you can get it done.

And the 4 pound yorkie mix on the quilt is adorable. The 65 pound greyhound who thinks it's a hammock....not so cute!

@G ~ I am almost done with one of the 3 projects, I'm afraid I will wreck them with stains etc. by time labor day comes around, they all are camping related and will get a lot of use this summer. I have no problem saving the pics and posting later too if its easier on her and everyone!

oh yes, Jess post away! You are and always have been a great source of inspiration for me as well!
Plus, as I go through my massive stash I am setting aside bits for you. So, pretty soon you may be getting a box from Cali...

I'm in...with at least one of my MANY UFO's

Here's a photo of the UFO I was working on at our cottage this weekend. The top is pieced, sandwiched and basted as you can see, now I'm working on the hand-quilting and finishing with binding, etc.
