Thanks! It's unlike most of my quilts in color scheme, but I'm really liking it so far.

Very nice. Love the colors. I'm impressed you are doing handwork! I do everything by machine. No patience!

Thanks Lana. The handwork means I can sew while traveling. My husband likes to do most of the driving, so I can sew and look around at the scenery at the same time. Hard to do that with a machine. : )

I can definitely see that. When Don was traveling in the 70's I would go with him and worked on rug hooking while we were going down the road. I can't read or I get car sick.

Five UFO's for me
These are the five I would love to finish by Labor Day:
Grandpa's PJ's - Mom saved my grandfather's pj's and I made a quilt out of them. I have to quilt the rectangles and cornerstones and then do the binding.
Jigsaw - playing around with a border (confetti fabric) or not. Then quilt and bind.
1600 quilt - Have you heard about this? Uses a Jelly Roll. Google "1600 quilt" and watch the youtube video. My best friend and I are trying one this weekend.
This and That notebook covers.
Happy Camper - will probably use the Yellow Brick Road pattern

Just finished the 3 sets of curtains for the back of the trailer. At the rate I'm going now no quilting is going to get done anytime soon. Just found out one of the cousins is having a baby in Sept. so that is going to be the next project as soon as I get my embroidery machine fixed. I have lots of applique baby designs to use.

Pinwheels are fun and bright--will be so nice in your trailer. Our PieceMakers group is in the middle of making several Pinwheel quilts. I see pinwheels in my sleep ~G

Dear Lana,
Well looks like you got your work cut out for you. I love the camper fabric, that is too cute. WANT... Pajama pants would be so cool out of those. I look at the pajama quilt and tears got in my eyes, it looks so worn and soft. What a treasure that will be I abso-bloomin-lutely love it. I am not crazy about the confetti if you were fishing for feedback for that jigsaw quilt. I would go without a border, I think it would look cool just like a regular puzzle.
I am going to dig out my UFO's tonight and bring em back to Davis, photograph them and post em. Then we shall see if I can work on them!!!
Smiles,
Pink

Yes, Pink, I do have my work cut out for me, esp. since I'm going to be gone most of the rest of the summer and then school starts Aug. 22! I love the idea of PJ pants out of the camper fabric! FUN! I'll have to check and see how soft it is.
Yes, the fabric in my gpa's pj quilt is almost worn bare in places. I can remember him wearing every pair.
Thanks for your thoughts on the border for the jigsaw quilt. Always open to thoughts and ideas. Was trying to figure out a way to make it be a bed sized quilt, but decided I just like it how it is. It'll just be a throw size.
Good luck on your UFO's.
Lana

Took me two days to go through every box. Are you a teacher Lana or a student? I am a student at Davis, so I feel you when it comes to time...
I am taking the first summer session but not the second. Sure looking forward to having a break.
Smiles,
Pink

Yes the curtain is lined, I should have taken a photo of the inside and the underside of the seat cover, the shower curtain is lined with muslin and the seat cover has mossy green fabric on the underside so when the lid is up it shows the green fabric.
