Pretty in Pink!

I just saw this story on the news today, with the photo below, and wanted to share it with all you flamingo lovers out there! The photo made me smile, despite the cold weather and snow, and it made me think of camping.

Enjoy!

Pretty in pink

Pedestrians pass a snow bank decorated with pink plastic flamingos in Chicago, Illinois. The flamingos were a promotion for AirTran Airways' new nonstop service from Chicago to Miami and West Palm Beach, Florida.

Good thing those aren't the original ones...they'd be flocking to all the local Airstreamer's homes!

Cute ~

Imagine the net worth of that block if they were Don Featherstone Flamingo's! WOW! It would be hard to just walk on by!

Call the COPS! THey are IEDs! They may jump out and attack the passers by at any time! ;-) Seriously I am suprised they got away with it after the problems in Boston.

Well...there is a bit of difference between this and the Boston event. The devices in Boston had wires sticking out and had glowing lights whereas in Chicago, these are just plastic flamingos!

They are getting smarter(the flamingos). The legs are wires and the batteries are in the ground! ;-)

Yeah just look at em eyeing up that little pooch. If I were him I would be walking on the other side of my human. That lady in the background should be carrying her bag on the other shoulder also. There is no telling what a herd of P.P.F.s might do with a shoulder bag of cosmetics, or those plastic credit cards. They might just go out and charge an Airstream or something.

There should be a Pink Flamingo glut on the market as soon as the promotion is over. Do you think they will sell for 10 cents on the dollar????
Cheers, Jeff
