Jus' logged on and opened a personal message I received, just wondering if anyone else has received anything like this in their PM boxes...

Was this received through a 'Private Message' or 'E-mail'? These sorts of coorespondences will not be tolerated through the forum!

Russan Scam in private Email.
Ok guys,
If you haven't figured it out yet, this is the same Nigerian scam that's been going around the last couple of years. If fact, last week here in So. California a tv producer took the bate. He got a check for 50K and when he took it to the bank, he found out that it was a forged check. Next thing you know, the Nigerian Mob came looking for him at his home. He had to run out. He'd been missing for a week, had search parties looking for him. A few days ago, the County Sheriff found him naked washing his jeans in a creek. He told them what had happen. 
Also, if you go to www.snoops.com you'll probably see this scam and see the various other scams that are going on.

It was obviously a scam, the bigger concern I had was, that he used the forums as a means of distribution...

Chris -- the last link should be www.snopes.com, enter Nigerian in the search field. I suspect we've all received these before... ...just not thru Forums PMs!!! Go get 'em moderators - and thanks for your always fabulous job.
The mods have either worked fast or something's funny. "Immaculate" is not a user any more!!!

Members don't show up on the 'Members List' until they have made at least one post. There are many members of the forums that just log on, lurk and don't post, thus don't show up for other members to see.
'Immaculate', had never posted anything to a thread, so t(he)y never showed up...just apparently used the PM feature.
