I'm in full agreement on the due diligence- I've been through hell with some of these trailer sellers.
I and another member had been trying to ask the seller on his listing if it was rusty, he wouldn't reply and we actually had a stroke of luck- I called a speculator, knowledgable regarding the rust, who had looked at his trailer- said it was Swiss cheese underneath. I'm interested if it was purchased by anyone and if they were told by the seller about it- the speculator had said that he made sure the seller knew how bad it was. Disclosing it didn't seem his game plan when we pressed him about it- luckily this spec fellow and I crossed paths.
