. . . Still very Arkansas . . . ?
Not sure if the song is referring to this, but the AK Buffalo River starts in the Boston Mountains just to mix things up.

Good tune thanks Bob.

And the Buffalo, Buffalo River starts in Buffalo... as do Chicken Wings.

I think I posted California Cotton Fields by the Seldom Scene already, but here is an old funky version live from Gram Parsons and The Fallen Angels [Emmylou Harris] from 1973. Got that down-to-basics 70's feel, right?
The "liner notes" below the video are interesting. [click on top of frame below, rather than on the Play arrow in the middle of the frame]

And this classic from Willie Nelson's Stardust album (from the late 70's). Every song on this album is great!
Picturing being in a remote campground looking up at the blue skies as the sun sets . . .

Thanks Don and Lou for two great songs!
Here is the classic Once In A Lifetime from the Talking Heads -- an iconic nodal point in music history . . .
Into the blue again . . .
Is this my beautiful house?
Where does that highway lead to?

And then coming down home a bit, how about Blue Highway with Blue Ridge Mountain Girl, a different tune from the Alan Jackson number, with the same title, posted a month or two ago (Post 13).
Recalling last Fall's Close Encounter of The Twentieth Kind when a couple of 20-footers bumped into each other in The Appalachian Mountains . . .

Blue Highway's Through the Window of a Train harmonizes with the theme here IMO -- On the Road Again!
The clickin' of the gaps in the rails -- like the expansion joints in the Interstate's concrete pavement -- the rhythmic heartbeat of moving on down the road . . . !
Yee Ha!

How about this road song,
"40, 80 or 10"
authored by Tanya Savory and performed by Amy Gallatin and Sweetwaters? I also have a CD version by Pam Gadd, but not on YouTube.
Great lyrics . . . !

In honor of Merle Haggard -- Ramblin' Fever from a 2010 Kennedy Center awards ceremony, performed by Willie Nelson and quite a back-up ensemble!

And Silver Wings . . . shining in the sunlight . . . roaring engines . . .
On The Road Again in the silver Flying Cloud . . .
A nice version of this quiet travel song IMO.

OK -- time to "summerize" the trailer, and what better music than Summer In The City by the Lovin' Spoonful from 1966?
Check out the hair!
Far out, man . . .

Summerization Summarization
Glad to say the pump-based "summerization" of the water system went just fine -- no leaks. Added bleach and sanitized the tank and all lines. Hooked up the city water and flushed the system of bleach. Drained tank and added fresh water. Small trace amount of bleach left in tank is OK, as we don't use the tank water for drinking/cooking. 2-3 more refills will take care of bleach smell in lines soon.
Two small secondary hiccups:
-- outdoor shower head/wand washer went missing -- turns out it is a standard shower head washer available at the hardware store. Got extras.
-- must have accidentally pushed the fridge On button while going in and out of the trailer, with the door still propped open with a sponge (from winter storage). Ended up with a block of ice on the cooling fins and an empty propane tank. Minor and manageable.
The pump is quieter than I remember, and the blue jeans dampening material linked on the 20-footer thread is going to be available next week. Fridge and water heater up and running fine.
Apologies for the repeat song -- what a beat and great lyrics (albeit on a silver plane -- "Airstream with wings" ? )
Let the Summer Games begin!

Peter you must be a happy camper. All in all I'd say a success.
Thinking of Merle as of late and Skull & Roses is a top 10 road CD for me. Mama Tried with Bob Weir doing a pretty good job on vocals. Classic Dead.
you mentioned Willie earlier ...camp fire, a Bourbon and Stardust. Good Night Irene.
Seems someone mentioned John Sebastion too. There was an OPB program a month or so that we caught. His work still holds up.
Seems I have some streaming to catch up on. A diverse crowd for sure.
just recovered from 1.5" of rain in 24 hours ( which is a lot for EUG, especially this time of the year) and it's getting warm again. I'll be summerizing next week....Departing for Beachside SP (4 days) in 12 days
Bob
p.s did you install the accumulator tank in the pump room? Maybe a pic?
