Don't know if this has been posted, but it should move you on down the road.

EDIT: It seems I walked on ITSNO60 with this one. I will try to be more attentive next time.

No worries mate. I had that Doobie Bros album in high school, guess that says how old I am.

I like the fact that you tow your AS with an older diesel, I will be using my 2002 7.3 which runs like a dream. I'll bet you are your own mechanic too.

We have a 2002 F 250 crew cab with 7.3 and 4wd. It has about 300,000 miles on it. The engine seems to be bullet proof, and it's a crew cab. Mine has about 250,000 on it. I've been thinking of trading trucks. I would just clean it up and install a camper top. We use it for pulling heavy job trailers. It is strong. As you can see we run a truck into the ground. We virtually never sell one, or buy one for that matter.

Agree with Brian on that -- no apologies needed for any song posted here IMO, plus your old classic "Long Train Running," Don, is a fine road song with great rhythm and beat. The opening guitar riff takes me right back!

Check out the hair in the video on full screen.

Yeah, I remember . . . when I could have grown hair like that! [Did you say "could have?"]

Have a good weekend.

Pger

PS -- Don thanks for the post about your recent trip on The Blue Ridge Parkway, did you hear any good local music?

The local station just played a Glen Campbell song, triggering this selection, a somewhat wistful number -- Galveston -- which reminds me of a winter trip to San Diego and Napa in the 25' a "few years ago." [Will put the other tune on the OTRA II thread.]

Same truck here only F-350 with 170K. Needs tires now and I'm having a tough time deciding on what to get.

Good old tunes there Peter, A while back I thought "By the Time I get to Phoenix" would make a good candidate for a road song but I never got around to posting it.

Anyone going to Louisiana?

Despacito just passed 3 billion views on YouTube!

The rhythms and positive energy will get anyone moving and on the road again!

R.I.P. Glen Campbell.

How many people have visited Galveston since hearing that song? It's on my bucket list.

The city really should name something in his honour.

Thanks FAN. Galveston is in Post #348, for everyone else's information.

Brian, thanks for the LW tune. Glen's Phoenix is on the other thread FYI.

Thank you SilverGate for that catchy tune.

Peter

So should Wichita, KS and Phoenix, AZ for that matter. "Galveston" "Wichita Lineman" and "By the Time I get to Phoenix" are all good, but my personal favorite Glen Campbell song has always been "Southern Nights."

How did we make it through 358 posts without this classic from Fleetwood Mac, a group which started 50 years ago today?

You Can Go Your Own Way . . .

Yes!
