Congrats on the 100th post!

We only had 3 groups last night. Our dead end street is usually a location that the county folks dump off a car load of kids and wait for the to go up one side and back down the other. None of that last night

We had quite a few visitors...
Local PD went by at least a dozen times, and one State Trooper.
I bet were going to get complants.
Traffic was bumper to bumper from about 6:30 till 7:00
Rest was semi-normal.
Oh...great new sound track..."Manhatten Steamrollers"<sp has a Halloween CD.

We have a new way to measure success...
1 lady peed in her pants,
1 kid soiled his costume...
And I was not even trying hard!

Is very interesting to see which kids are going to be brave or cry...
Always surprises me.
Not always the oldest vs youngest, or boy vs girl.

Best at getting squeels and gasps was for me to run across hall way in the dark.
Not jump out at them, just give them a short look at whats inside.
Some just gave up and turned back.
I was inside with the front door left open, as a dragon
She was sitting on front porch as a witch, giving out candy.

Cousin It...fantastic!
He got extra candy

Princess was #1 costume for girls, and football players #1 for boys

My goodness, some of you really had a turn out. We had about 30 kids of which 20 were little ones.

Best costumes - a couple of kids, sister and brother we think, with him in a Bee costume and she in a humming bird costume. They were hilarious, and about 3 so excited as heck and very proud of their costumes.

We used to get triple this number but it was threatening rain so I think a lot of folks kept the kids at home, and as well the City had an event on Saturday early evening that had the kids going door to door at the main street businesses.

Klattu, I'm darned glad I never hit your place when I was a kid. I'm not sure what I'd of done .

Not too spooky I just decided that my post was a little too down in the mouth in the middle of all these fun ones. Remembering the holiday when I was a kid made me a little regretful of some of its celebration today...so for the enjoyment of the thread, I removed it. Your porch looks grand. I'd have been delightfully terrified of that witch when I was a kid! ~G
