Not what I wanted to hear today

National weather service posted a tornado watch a while ago. Inbeded in it was this gem:
Quote:
MOST OF THESE STORMS WILL LIKELY CONTAIN SMALL HAIL
AND PRODUCE WIND GUSTS TO NEAR 40 MPH.
Just peachy!

I've heard that if you have your trailer polished bright enough, the reflection will melt the hail stones before they can do any damage.... is this true?

It looks like it's going past to the north. Should calm down in an hour before it grow up from your southwest with no more power from the sun.

WELCOME TO OKLAHOMA! YOU'LL GET USE TO IT......
Most of the storms start in your part of the State and move up Hwy 44 towards the city and on up to Tulsa. You and I are both in the normal path of these things. Just watch the weather on TV and listen for the tornado sirens and you'll be all right. We have such good warning systems here that there is often time to get that Airstream out of the way. I have a plan to put my animals in the Argosy and pull it out of harms way. I watched that huge tornado that came in 1999, all the way up the turnpike, but I knew it would miss me by a couple of miles and it did. The TV stations have great Doppler and will tell you what street the tornado is going down. It's amazing.

Get ready for round two. We're south west of Dallas and it's gearing up and heading your way. Hopefully, it'll die down before it gets to you.
