No mods...be good!

I just noticed that it is one of those rare moments where there aren't any moderators on line! We all have to be real good now!

Woohoo! Party time!

Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!

Yuki? I have two choices.
1. I can edit into your post and due to a bothered conscience have you send Canoe stream a pair of Koss Quiet Zone 2000 noise cancellation stereophones with 20dB noise reduction, neodymium iron boron magnets, oxygen-free copper voice coils, 16 micron mylar diaphragms with frequency response of 15-20,000 Hz (2 AA batteries included). (sound like Car Guys?)
- or -
2. You were the one up so danged late! I'll be calling you in 10 minutes ...

Too funny! Yes, I was up late last night probably due to the late night concert after party I had to attend to sign copies of my newly released song video. Plus, after having done my first live concert appearance yesterday, I was exhausted but wide awake for most of the night! Last night when I saw there were no mods on line, I was beside myself and was torn between my two personalities -- the *wild-let's-PAHTY* side (i.e., Courtney Love ) vs.the meek, mild *yukionna* side.

But, *yukionna* prevailed, and the forum remained quietly under control in your absence.

It's a weekend NPR show, "Car Talk" with Tom & Ray Magliozzi from Boston. They often sign out with the suggestion that listeners send a donation made out to WGBH, but attach it to some described item -- like the Koss stereophones, a Celestron telescope or some other extravagance.

I've long had the thought ... okay, you've gone and done it. I'm emailing a new suggestion to Tom & Ray. Their next donation should be attached to an Airstream Classic 27 FB Limited with full awnings, Solar Charge System with two Glassmat batteries and two 53 watt solar panels, Premium Audio/Video Upgrade Package, Two skylights with blackout shades, 15,000 A/C with heat pump, Convection microwave, and External speaker package.

But who said that Airstream is an extravagance?! Hmmph!

Thumbs up Pronounced Cah Tawk--Its a great show!

I love how they end each show with "you've wasted another perfectly good hour listening to..." and then all the funny names of the staff/attorneys, etc. Dewey Cheatem and Howe

... and Yukionna thought that it'd be a good idea to start a new 'Mods sleeping' thread to separate from all that chaff in the other one. Big Brother rocks!

Now she's gone & done it. There are 22 members on & six of them are mods. I think we're in lockdown.
