You wouldn't want to pull anything longer than a 19' AS with that truck.

New Truck

That's why I'm holding out for a Ford F-850 turbo diesel to pull my 23D Flying Cloud. There's not even going to be a direct connection between the truck and the AS, because I also have my doubts about the tires that came on the AS. I'm having a flatbed trailer custom built to tow with the F-850, that will hold the 23D AS fastened on top.

what about the 10 speed manual option?

I would go for this combination, to pull a Basecamp, "but" I would want the 10 speed manual transmission to insure proper gearing up and down the hills in TX!
