New source for autoparts (humor)
I don't normally post links, but this sure looks promising:
Performance : KaleCoAuto, Hard to find automotive items!
Suppliers of such hard to find items as: - blinker fluid
- adjustable powerbands
and my personal favorite (yes, it's a joke!):
Engine Oil Bypass Kit
Quote:
Modern synthetic oil is very expensive - so why run the risk of getting it dirty by running it through your motor block? KaleCoAuto bypass kit comes with everything you need to run the oil around your motor block where it will do more good. Oil runs cooler, and as a result, there may be horsepower gains!

This reminds me of my younger Navy days - Do bad things to the newbees like send them back to grease the relative bearing or forward to turn on the "head Lights"

Feed the shaft seals.
Speaking of bypass:
My dad bought a new trailer (SOB) to keep permanantly on a site in FL. The dealer dlivered it and set it up on his site. Everything was fine until he went to shower. The hot water was gone after less than 1 minute in the shower. He checked the hot water heater and it appeared to be operating fine. Still, he would run out of hot water too quick. He called the dealer and they sent out a tech to troubleshoot the problem. Did I mention bypass? Maybe this will help someone else out with a new rig or post winterization and forgetting to normalize the heater bypass valve before getting in the shower.

I once sent a gullible newbie to get a "trailer stretcher" so we could fit the last two pallets in the semi.

Don't forget the 10' of chow line or the bucket of prop wash. I was on an aircraft carrier.
