I didn't have photos at work, but here is one of the Bat'Ped (got the year confused--it's a '56):

and one of the Triumph Tigress (250cc):

The interesting thing about the Tigress is that circuses used them for their bears to ride, since they were big enough, strong enough and powerful enough for the bears. We also have a Triumph Tina project (smaller, 175cc version of the Tigress).

This is one of my most favoritist pictures ever (Triumph Tigresses)!:

I am certifiable!

Wow, neat stuff Susan.

Is that Robin Williams on the front bike?

I love the bat bike, never seen one like it before.

WOW!! Susan. Really cool stuff. Can't say I've ever seen a two wheeled motor driven vehicle that carries its own spare. Love the Bat Bike. Now that's kewl!

I agree about the Bat Bike--I saw it on eBay a few years ago and literally could not pass it up! I have never seen another one like it either.

"Is that Robin Williams on the front bike?"
Possibly, and the second one to the right is Steve Martin!

I love all of your bikes/scoots, too! Honda Trails and Vespas and all those are great fun!

great looking and very cool scooters. I am making some progress on my 70..got most of the black spray paint off, found an airbox and a well worn but usable seat. Ordered the battery, and now all I need is a couple of fuel lines, and I can try to put it back together, add some oil and gas and see if I can get it started. Much of it is in pretty good shape, so I am hopeful.
First priority is my Airstream right now, but the crappy weather has given me garage time for the Honda.

Rather than wait for our return trip to the home town I arranged for the niece and her hubby to go pick the bikes up. It would appear that the cub has seen some hard use recently - neighbor kids "borrowed" it and they found it a few days later. No problem for me though, I can't ride anything right now anyway and when I can I'll then tear into it. Otherwise no surprises.

Whizzer

Check out this unit. Google it. It looks really old but runs great and turns heads wherever we go. Light enough to put on a HD bike rack on the front of my suburban. Whizzer!
