New Glamping Forum

I've been to 2 airstream rally's and 3 vintage trailer rally's and I have to say I've seen more glamping at the vintage rally's then at the AS rally's. However, since I'm so new to this forum and don't really know AS'ers I thought I'd post the link to the glamping forum for those of you who might be interested.

Very nice but Glamping isn't restricted to the USA (says the Brit living in Canada)

Is this clamping?????

This is a photo of my darling daughter and I, with killer attack dog, at The Grillbillie Prom. I think wearing a tuxedo, while camping, might be considered glamping to some folks.

Might be a little off topic, but.....

I stepped up into my trailer, and found my daughter on her laptop, taking an exam online. She is going to grad school straight through Summer, so she can graduate early. What would you call that......Examping??????? I remember way back when, having to take a limo, two miles, uphill both ways, to get to school.

I'm looking at the size of that trailer you are towing, Dave, and don't think you could possibly be doing anything but glamping in something that size! Yikes!

Looks as big as our little stick house.

The tux and formal attire are great.

I was referring to the Stars and Stripes wallpaper! It wasn't a serious complaint - I'm a foreigner, I know my place

I think a lot of us come to Glamping by default- we make our trailers and our camping experience stylish and comfortable (no matter the size of the trailer). I think I was influenced by an amazing camping car I saw at Harrah's car museum in Reno when I was 9- it was from the early 20s and I remember shiny wood and cut glass, and thinking it was so cool to be able to take such a cool home wherever you went.

Oh I knew you weren't being serious but for the life of me I couldn't figure out what you saw that led to the USA comment! Now I get it...that was to celebrate memorial day. We just had our first 'trailer of the month' contest so the pic on the banner and the background have changed. Our mrsoffspringin makes a great pin up glamping gal! at this rally she won the 'best dressed' award.

Me thinks Mr Toad is taking me on a wild ride!

(for those of you who don't know, Mr Toads Wild Ride is the name of a ride at Disney World in FL)
