Cool New Epiphone Airscreamer Guitar!!!!

A friend called and asked if I had seen the new Musician's Friend catalog. I said "No", and he proceeded to tell me why he asked: a new model by Epiphone called Trailer Park Troubadour Airscreamer. I looked it up online (at MusiciansFriend.com: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/...ase_id/116240/)

My wife got a big kick out of it, and is supportive if I want to look and buy. I'll have to play it to see whether it will meet my needs however.

Here is a picture of it...Cool!

It's been available on the Airstream website and the Trailer Park Troubadours website both for $599 for awhile, sounds like Musicians Friend is a bit cheaper.

Have fun!

Thanks for replying. And thanks for the other sources. I had never seen that guitar before. I am planning to go to a local store and buy one, supporting a local merchant instead of the mail order places. The first store I checked is where we bought our monitor speakers for the band, but they don't carry Epiphone. They referred me to another store, and they can order it for me (going in Sunday).

Phil,
It's not a very good guitar. It plays and sounds ok, but is overpriced for the quality it represents. I believe it's made in China or Korea.
I'd say it makes a nice conversation piece, or a collectors type thing, but for a player, it leaves lots to be desired, IMPO.
