New Big Brother

My little Argosy has a new big brother. A 1976, 31ft Airstream. Haven't told Twink yet. I'm waiting till we bring the big silver thing home. I'm in North Carolina now but will post pictures when I get home.

Congrats on the new rig! Didn't know you were looking. Is there a fun story behind this? Anyway, I can't wait to see the pics when you get them.

Congrats! Don't forget to keep giving Twink plenty of attention so he doesn't get jealous. Looking forward to pictures.

I wasn't so much looking for a 31ft as I was looking for a rear bedroom with a little more room than the Argosy. I found this one, and not to be outdone by balrgn, I went for it. An addition and AS envy are terrible things

Ah, Juel, there's comfort of some sort in knowing you're among kindred souls here on the forum! I'm the reverse. We have our 30', lots of room and comforts. We hope someday to find a "little" brother for Gypsy, a small Argosy or AS in the 20-22' range. Enjoy your twosome! ~G

You know you and your new cat are welcome any time. We'll make room. Vincent and the gang will be waiting. Of course you can't park that new thing too close to the VINTAGE collection.

Congrats!

My kid sister says she's getting a Casita and some hay bales to make a nest - so that it will look like my Airstream laid an egg when we camp together.

Vintage Collection - I like the way that sounds! Good luck with this new old one.

OK, I think I have a picture of the "new" vintage trailer soon to be a part of our family. Final adoption should be about October 18th.

Michelle...that's a picture of the trailer at the sellers house. I won't go get it until the middle of October. UGH! I'll fly to NC and Bob and I will drive up to Michigan to get it and pull it home. I'll let you dangle your feet in the Koi pond, but no swimming pool here yet. The long trailer will spend the winter beside the house being "personalized" and then go to the lake. The Argosy is now for "pullin" not just "sittin".
