Rocinante

How about Rocinante. It's the name of Don Quixote's horse and also the name that Steinbeck gave to his custom built camper that he toured across the country in. He wrote about it in "Travels With Charley" - an excellent read for anyone with wanderlust.

Just abbreviate the Paulaluminum to Paulaminum and I think you've got it. Although its kinda a tongue twister.

I like all of them! "Virgin Metal" is great but the virgin part doesn't match my personality - thought about Virginia Metal. Both versions of combining my name with Aluminum work well, but are tongue twisters. Silver Lizzie is great, but "Tin Lizzie" is the affectionate nickname for the Model T Ford.. so that has lots of validity too.

Gee maybe we should have primaries and an election... What do all y'all think?

(BTW - as a grateful recovering Yankee I assure you that "y'all" is singular and "All y'all" is the proper plural.)

Paula - trying out the nicknames

I could sweat for a week and still not do better than Tin Lizzie though I am very very impressed with all of the suggestions!

With any luck my new 22 CCD is now on my avatar complete with snow and bow.

Have an 11:00 am meeting, followed by a 12:00 - will call you this afternoon regarding formalities.

FYI - another famous nickname for the Model T Ford was "Flivver" - and a long time joke went like this, "I want to be buried in my Flivver." Why? "Because I never was in a hole that the Flivver couldn't get me out of."

Happy Trails - Paula, AKA: Tin Lizzie

I just sold my Chrome Twinkie. I'm trying to purchase a Caravel now, Sled Zeppelin doesn't seem to apply to such a small trailer...
