Actually, there is one (maybe more) that depends
on their call going to voice mail. If it doesn't, they plead a wrong number. This particular company claims to be a collection agency which is tired of being ignored, and this is their last call
before they sue you. Naturally, they leave a call back number.
We had a voice mail from this outfit, and since we don't owe anybody any money, my first thought was don't
call them back, do a little internet research first. Turns out leaving a voice mail is the first part of their selection process; anybody who calls them back is assumed to have sucker potential.
