Rivet Nascar

just got back from the NASCAR races in Phoenix Az. Didn't see too many A/S trailers even though there were thousands of other trailers and motorhomes.
Congratulations to Dale Earnhart Jr.! nice race.

NASCAR Camping at Circuit of the Americas

Dry Camping $400.

Saw this on the COTA web site NASCAR tab.

COTA has three levels of Camping: Full hookup in their RV park, Electric only, No Hookup.

Full hookup is good if there is no major event going on at the track, Otherwise usually sold out and expensive. Electric only is good at major events, but you cannot see the track. No shade. Its in an open field. No hookup is open field, better than nothing.

Traffic to and from the track is difficult if you camp at established commercial campgrounds or state parks near by, and you still have to pay to park at the track.

Laughed so hard I cried! We are going to Phoenix for the championship. Our t-shirts and hats are all ready. I would love to take the MH there someday, but my partner is very particular whom he camps around. Oh well.

That pass was the greatest thing in NASCAR in 20 years. No doubt it will be outlawed soon.

I thought it was a great move but he was lucky NASCAR didn't through the caution as soon as he "hit" the wall like the usually do when there is wall contact.

Me and my airstream have been to 7 races at 3 different tracks plus a Indy car race and the Watkins glen vintage Grand Prix.
Always a great time camping at the track!

I would have loved to have seen Chastain “Haul the Wall” in person!
