My Pictures

How do I find My Pictures? I have found them in the past but am having a Senior Moment.

I have a dozen pictures in the 1990 Trailer section but then are now quite a ways down in the pack and I am looking for the page that displayed just mine.

Click photos (tab) go to members photos and find your name. BTW, it took me some looking too

There are no photos listed in the members section under my name.

I originally posted them in the 1990 Airstream section but they are so far down in the order now that I can't find them.

I have seen them as a group once so I know it can be done.

I cant find them. I have a vague (and probably incorrect memory) of a system crash a couple years ago where a bunch of images were lost.

Click on your name in your avatar block and look for the drop down menu. Find the option to view gallery uploads. Your pics are still in the gallery

umm...

I used the search tool on the photos page and clicked 'advanced search'. Then searched by username.

If you go to the members by name and look, he is not listed. Are photos uploaded into threads treated differently than those in the photo galleries?

Yes - the photo gallery is a totally separate page and the files that you load to threads do not display in the photo gallery. To search for gallery pics you must search in the gallery, proper. The link in the drop down menu from an avatar is essentially the search result from the gallery.

Janet is correct.

I did an advanced search by my user name in my avatar and they come up.

Earlier tonight I found them through a very circuitous route. At the bottom of each category there is a box called Display Options. If I go to the 1990 Airstream Trailer category and search by user name nothing comes up when asking for a "Descending" list but it will bring photos up alphabetically if I ask for an Ascending list. Then I had to go through to the Hs.

It is odd that my pictures are not listed if I just do a search by user name in the category I posted them to but that is that.
