i'm gonna check on the dog...

he does seem a little agitated

but at least he isn't hungry.

OMG... I thought I'd better run out and check mine too...

(I've learned to check a lot of things from these forums.)

Yikes... I have a similar problem!!

Now I need a head extractor...

Thanks, 2air' for the heads up!

Déjŕ vu

When I felt the bump, earlier this afternoon, I quickly looked into the rear view mirror, but as the road rapidly receded, I could not discern what could have caused it. I had completely forgotten about it as I settled in to review the Airstream forum postings about the latest topics to be concerned and worry about, as I have the weekend ahead of me to dwell upon them.

It was too soon to worry about replacing my axles and a hunt for hidden and pinched electrical wires did not catch my interest. I already knew about my chronic corrosion issue and my dead converter had recently been excised and replaced.

After checking the price of gas, government bail outs and dump station blues, I cautiously wandered off of the portal page, into the darker regions, and decided to take a risk on the Off Topic Forum, and then I came across it... a topic that I had forgotten about for an astounding year now… mudflaps and critters that one might encounter while on the road. I suddenly realized that I’m overdue in checking my flaps.

Without wasting another moment, I rushed back out to the driveway just before sunset, and saw it… it was déjŕ vu… and my mind raced back to that bump that I had felt earlier. There it was… another head… rigor mortis had already set in, even the ears were stiff.

The congealing blood seemed to be eating into my flaps.

But my main concern now was how to best extract the head. I didn’t want those fangs to scratch my silver super duty, so I thought I ought to return to this forum thread for advice… especially from the learned one who had recently and mysteriously disappeared.

But first I’ll step into the trailer for another piece of apple pie before letting this go to my head or get under my skin…

and contemplate the clues to the strange disappearance of 2air'...

and wish him Congratulations on his pending 6000th posting and reemergence.

Happy Halloween to all… and to all critters a good night…. And sleep tight!

summoning goblins at midday will not do…

but as the sun sets, we’ll see who cries boo.

recently while camping in the cuyamaca mountains...

the rain threatened to pour… as if from fountains.

i felt a thump in the road… oh no… could it be THE RABBIT?

it was getting dark, so i stayed inside… as was my habit
