Mr. Winick's book...
I got it for Christmas this morning (after many hints to my wife!) I love the look of it, but...
What happened to proper spelling and grammar and diction in this country? Glancing through the book quickly, mostly just looking at the pictures while seeing other gifts ahead of me, I read one quick sentence...and found a typo.
Later, when I sat down to really read the book, I counted no less than a dozen errors. I am not downplaying Mr. Winick's work on the actual trailers. It is amazing! I am not attacking him personally or professionally...but I may be attacking his book editor, if he even used one. As a former English teacher and published author of many hobby/trade journal articles, typos embarrass me. When I buy a book for $30, it should be nearly perfect. I am owed that as a consumer.
The current texting generation will only make this poor-writing trend worse.
I will enjoy the book nonetheless. It will go great with my collection of vintage RV books already on the library shelf.
